Established in 1995 in the heart of Greenbelt, the New Deal Café
was created as a non-stock, nonprofit membership corporation built

The city of Laurel was first established in 1870 as “Laurel Factory”
and had a population of only about 1,000 residents. Today, Laurel

a diverse portfolio of songs ranging from Rock & Roll to Top

With a history dating back to 1956, the Riverdale Bookshop and
Coffee Depot has been a part of the Prince George's County community
for a long time. Originally only a bookshop, the venue added a
café in 1997, and soon thereafter began hosting music from local
and national artists.
