Gladys Spellman Specialty Hospital and Nursing Center:

v     Gladys Spellman is a care nursing center located on the Prince George’s Hospital Center campus. Because it is a small care center attached to a larger acute center, it is able to provide medically complicated patients immediate emergency room admittance, lab and radiology procedures, and continuous services for long periods of time.

v     Health Services: rehabilitation program, respiratory care program, a pain management program, a progressive wound care program, intravenous therapy program, dialysis services, infectious disease management, and support services consisting of  speech-language pathology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, and psychological therapy.

v     Senior Health Center: Located in Brentwood, MD, the Senior Health Center provides additional medical services under the management of Gladys Spellman. These services include blood/urine testing, tuberculosis, pneumonia, and influenza vaccinations, as well as walk-in blood pressure checks.
