Bowie Health Campus:

v     Although only a 60-acre property in Bowie, MD, the Bowie Health Campus reaches the healthcare needs of patients ranging from newborns to the elderly. It is comprised of the Bowie Health Center, Dimensions Surgery Center, Bowie Physical Medicine Services, Mullikin Medical Center, the Larkin Chase Nursing Rehabilitation Center, and the Woodward Estate Assisted Living.

v     Health Services:

·      Bowie Health Center: Level 2 emergency services, urgent care, after-hours pediatric care, laboratory services, and radiology (x-ray) services. With the help of Advanced Cardiac Life Support certified physicians, emergency treatment for minor injuries and severe traumas is provided to over 30,000 patients annually. In terms of diagnostic testing, almost 50,000 tests (x-rays, EKGs, tissue analyses, throat cultures, urinalyses, blood studies, and cholesterol monitoring) are conducted each year.

·      Dimensions Surgery Center: performs procedures involving anesthesiology, gastroenterology (colonoscopy and upper endoscopy), general surgery (hernia repair), gynecology, ophthalmology (cataract removal), oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology (ENT), pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, and urology.

·      Bowie Physical Medicine Services: rehabilitation services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy

·      Mullikin Medical Center: physician practices and specialties from allergy to urology as well as the Bowie Pharmacy

·      Larkin Chase Nursing and Rehabilitation Center: Located on campus, this long-term rehabilitation and nursing center offers services such as a respiratory care program, progressive wound care program, dialysis and rehabilitation therapies.

·      Woodward Estate Assisted Living: known as an assisted living community, residents on campus can enjoy the comfort of a home as well as receive medical support from a professional staff. In addition to a weekly housekeeping service, weekly linen and laundry service, and scheduled transportation, the features of the estate include a community dining room, a library, "Triple Crown Pub”, a country kitchen, a fitness center, outdoor terraces, and a general store.
